About this role
Your new role:
As a Principal House Officer (Paediatrics), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to neonates and children within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. You will:
- Provide comprehensive paediatric and neonatal care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings under supervision
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to safe, effective and evidence-based patient management
- Support teaching, mentoring and supervision of junior medical staff and students
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and continuous service development initiatives
About you:
You are a motivated and compassionate clinician who is committed to delivering exceptional care while continuing to grow professionally within a collaborative healthcare environment. You have:
- Demonstrated experience in paediatric and neonatal clinical care, including life support competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to teaching, mentoring and ongoing professional development
- A proactive approach to quality improvement, patient safety and evidence-based practice

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
