Clinical Nurse - Intensive Care

About Your Role

As the Clinical Nurse – Intensive Care, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing care within the ICU/HDU environment at Redland Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical care to critically ill patients within ICU/HDU
• Provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to nursing staff
• Coordinate and evaluate complex patient care and clinical priorities
• Participate in quality improvement, audits and patient safety initiatives
• Support education, mentoring and clinical development of staff and students

About You

You are an experienced and motivated Intensive Care nurse with advanced clinical knowledge, strong critical thinking skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

• Advanced clinical experience within Intensive Care nursing
• Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to lead and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Postgraduate critical care qualifications highly regarded
