About Your Role
As the Speech Pathologist – Advanced Clinical within Rehab@Home, you will provide specialised clinical leadership and advanced community-based speech pathology services across Metro South Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced community-based speech pathology assessment and intervention
- Provide expert clinical leadership and consultancy across Rehab@Home services
- Lead the development of evidence-based clinical practices and protocols
- Support and mentor speech pathologists, allied health assistants and students
- Coordinate care for complex rehabilitation and restorative care patients
- Contribute to innovative models of care and service improvement initiatives
About You
You are an experienced and highly skilled Speech Pathologist with advanced expertise in rehabilitation and restorative care within community settings.

- Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Advanced clinical expertise in community-based rehabilitation services
- Strong leadership, mentoring and staff development capabilities
- Experience managing complex clinical caseloads independently
- High-level communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills
- A relevant post graduate qualification (highly regarded)

Community and Oral Health Services:

- We deliver a myriad of services across Metro South including Hospital in the Home, Rehabilitation, Chronic Disease, Acute Care, Dementia Outreach, Oral Health, and specialist residential care along with delivering numerous other vital community health services.
