About this role
Your new role:
This Nurse Manager – Risk, Quality and Innovation position plays a pivotal part in strengthening QEII's clinical governance systems and driving a culture of safety, quality and evidence‑based improvement.
In this role you will:
- Lead risk, quality and innovation across the organisation by implementing quality systems, supporting accreditation readiness and shaping a mature risk culture.
- Provide expert consultation on standards, risk management, incident review, data analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
- Drive data‑informed improvement through accurate reporting, benchmarking, KPI monitoring and service‑wide evaluation.
- Support organisational leadership by collaborating with executives, senior clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety, experience and service outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced clinical governance professional and an inspiring nursing leader who thrives in environments focused on improvement, collaboration and innovation. You will bring:
- Advanced clinical governance expertise including strong knowledge of standards, accreditation processes, risk management and quality systems.
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence culture, lead change, mentor others and build capability across nursing and interprofessional teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in data interpretation, benchmarking and translating insights into service improvements.
- Commitment to evidence‑based practice demonstrated through involvement in research, quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
