Kick-start your physiotherapy career with our New Graduate Physiotherapist Program at Logan Hospital. This temporary full-time 12-month opportunity (commencing January–February 2027) provides the opportunity to gain experience across a range of clinical areas through diverse rotations, with structured support from experienced clinicians and a collaborative, patient-focused learning environment.
About this role
Your new role:
As a New Graduate Physiotherapist, you'll have the opportunity to build your clinical skills across a variety of practice areas while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll develop confidence through structured supervision, professional development and hands-on experience by:
- Delivering physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across a range of clinical areas.
- Managing an allocated caseload while developing clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Working collaboratively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes.
- Contributing to quality improvement, research and service development initiatives.
- Supporting the education of students and allied health assistants under senior clinician guidance.
About you:
We're looking for a motivated graduate who is passionate about delivering patient-centred care and eager to continue developing professionally. You will demonstrate:
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist before commencement.
- Completion (or expected completion) of an approved Physiotherapy degree during 2026.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A genuine passion for improving patient outcomes and delivering compassionate care.
