About this role
Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse within Lagoon Ward, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care while developing your clinical knowledge and contributing to a high-performing team. You will:
- Deliver safe, compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to adult patients across acute and subacute medical settings, including patients with complex and multi-system conditions.
- Apply your clinical assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation skills to coordinate individualised care in partnership with patients, families and the broader healthcare team.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health professionals, with opportunities to take on team leader responsibilities and coordinate clinical care as delegated.
- Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, education and professional development while supporting a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement.

Unit Profile
Bayside Health Service provides services within the hospital and community setting such as Emergency Care, Primary Health and Minor Injury Care, Acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care. Lagoon Ward is a 28-bed inpatient medical unit including a 16 Bed Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU) and 12 Bed Acute Medical Unit (AMU).
