Your new role:
Join our Casual Administration Officer Talent Pool and play an important role in supporting patient care and hospital operations across a range of clinical and non-clinical areas at QEII Jubilee Hospital. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for adaptable administration professionals who thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Provide high-quality administrative support across multiple hospital departments including reception, outpatient services, inpatient wards and specialist areas.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing enquiries, appointments, patient records and hospital information systems.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while effectively managing competing priorities and adapting to changing operational needs.
About you:
We are seeking motivated and professional administration officers who are customer-focused, adaptable and committed to delivering efficient support services within a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience in administration, reception or customer service roles, ideally within a busy or complex environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, visitors and staff.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and a commitment to confidentiality, teamwork and quality service delivery.

About us:
The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
