About the role
This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing anaesthesia service delivering care across a complex tertiary environment at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH). As a Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, you will contribute to the delivery of contemporary, patient-centred anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, supporting a diverse range of surgical and interventional specialties.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provision of Anaesthetics Service to patients in accordance with the standards of the discipline and the ethics of the profession in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Provision of advanced Anaesthetics Services for patients that are consistent with the Clinical Services Capability Framework of the relevant facilities with the Health Service
- Active participation in clinical audits, clinical meetings and clinical incident management resolution
- Facilitate a learning environment by sharing knowledge and expertise, participating in teaching and research activities, and supporting the development of colleagues.
- Participate in and/or lead departmental research activities in collaboration with colleagues into areas relevant to the Anaesthetics.
