Senior Psychologist - Sleep Psychology
Provide specialised sleep psychology services, supporting patients with complex medical and behavioural sleep conditions.

About this role
About the role
Provide high-level clinical psychology services within the Sleep Service at The Prince Charles Hospital, delivering evidence-based assessment, intervention, and evaluation to support patients with complex sleep and related health conditions. Working as part of a multidisciplinary medical team, this role focuses on improving patient outcomes through integration of psychological care within a specialised clinical setting.
You will manage a complex caseload requiring the application of advanced clinical judgement and the adaptation of evidence-based interventions to meet individual patient needs. The role provides the opportunity to work at the interface of psychological and medical conditions, contributing to holistic, patient-centred care across the continuum of treatment.
As a senior clinician, you will also contribute to the development of clinical practices, protocols, and service delivery models within both the Psychology Department and the broader multidisciplinary team. This includes participation in research, service improvement, and innovation initiatives that strengthen psychology services within the hospital setting.
The position includes a strong focus on supervision, education, and professional leadership. You will provide high-quality clinical supervision to postgraduate students and less experienced psychologists, supporting workforce capability and maintaining high professional standards. In addition, you will provide expert clinical advice and consultation to colleagues and stakeholders, supporting evidence-based practice across the service.
