Advanced Scope Pharmacy Assistant - Clinical Trials

Temporary full-time opportunity to provide advanced clinical support tasks to The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Pharmacy Clinical Trials team.

About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to manage the operational components of the Clinical Trials Pharmacy, including prescription preparation, trial record keeping, clinical support and administrative activities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Clinical Trial Coordinators, Investigators and Clinical Trial Sponsors to ensure the timely initiation and the continual smooth management of clinical trials.
- Dispensing investigational drugs and maintaining accurate records of drug accountability
- Maintaining stock inventory by ensuring stock is ordered appropriately and is within expiry
- Receiving and storing investigational drug under appropriate conditions, including monitoring of temperature storage conditions
- Undertaking trial specific training and specialist GCP training
