- Provide administrative and systems support in relation to confidential patient medical records within a hospital setting both digital and historical.
- Ensure digital images are available for patient presentations in the Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR)
- Contribute to a 24/7 service delivery model by working rotating shifts, including early (0600-1430), late (1430-2300), and weekend hours (0800 – 1630).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
- Prioritise receipt and track patient medical records electronically for all clinical and business units across the hospital campus.
- Perform general duties related to the maintenance and care of patient medical records and the systems used to scan these files.
- Support clinical business units with their medical record requirements including end user assistance on the integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) and the historical medical record.
- Quality Management of electronic patient medical records ensuring the accuracy of images available on the ieMR.
