Rhinology Fellow - Ear, Nose & Throat

Temporary full-time opportunity to undertake a Rhinology Fellowship within the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). This highly regarded fellowship offers advanced subspecialty training in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery within a tertiary referral centre.

About the role
The Registrar/Senior Registrar – ENT Rhinology Fellow will deliver high‑quality otolaryngology and head and neck care within a tertiary referral centre, with a primary focus on advanced rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. Based at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, the role involves the assessment, investigation, diagnosis and management of patients with complex nasal, sinus and skull base conditions, as well as participation in peri‑operative, on‑call and after‑hours services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- A medical degree from a registered tertiary institution acceptable by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) for registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia.
- General registration with the MBA, or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Be currently enrolled in or have completed RACS ENT training program, or overseas equivalent of at least 5 years in duration.
- Successful completion of examination in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS), or overseas equivalent. Evidence must be provided at time of application.
- Experience in all routine ENT surgical procedures and management.
