Permanent full-time opportunity to be an effective and efficient member of a team of plumbing tradespersons responsible for the repair, installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of plumbing systems and associated plant and equipment across RBWH and Metro North Health facilities.

About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to contribute to the delivery of safe, reliable and compliant hospital infrastructure by undertaking installation, maintenance, testing and repair of plumbing systems and equipment as part of a dedicated BEMS team across RBWH and Metro North Health sites.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Install, maintain, test and repair plumbing systems and infrastructure, including specialist medical gas systems, sterilisers, therapy pools, gas services, roofs and waste lines.
- Undertake maintenance and repair of hospital plant, equipment and machinery to ensure reliability, compliance and optimal performance.
- Accurately complete work requests, service reports and feedback documentation in line with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise effectively with Queensland Health staff, contractors, external agencies and stakeholders to ensure work is coordinated with minimal service disruption.
