Psychologist (Senior)
Deliver high-level clinical psychology services to adolescents in an acute inpatient setting. Provide leadership, supervision, and evidence-based care for complex mental health needs.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provision of high-level and culturally safe mental health and alcohol and drugs assessment, triage risk assessment and management, case co-ordination and care planning to adolescent consumers and their families/carers who present to an acute inpatient service due to severe and complex mental health treatment needs.
- Utilise effective communication skills to optimise clinical outcomes and work cooperatively and effectively with consumers and carers; the multidisciplinary team; other Hospital and Health Services including child and youth mental health services; government and non-government support agencies, General Practitioners, and Private Practitioners.
- Provide clinical leadership and participate in the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of quality, service improvement and/or research activities that enhance the delivery of psychological services, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care, improve consumer care, and contribute to the development of an innovative Adolescent Mental Health Unit.
