About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- The Anaesthetic AHP Trainee is responsible for preparing the anaesthetic environment and is required to be present during the induction and maintenance for all elective and emergency anaesthetic procedures, under immediate supervision.
- Maintain and perform contemporary anaesthetic practice by participating in continuing professional development. Aspects of professional development include acquiring and maintaining knowledge and skills through active participation in conferences, seminars, workplaces competencies and self-directed learning. It is a requirement for all Queensland health employees to complete mandatory training.
- Demonstrate initiative and participate as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring all patient needs are met.
