The role of the Anaesthetics Registrar is to participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to hospital patients.

In accordance with the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) values, as outlined below, the role of the Anaesthetics Registrar is to participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to hospital patients. Contribute to the continual upgrading of Medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values.
- Provide anaesthetic services under the supervision and direction of senior staff.
- Comply with ANZCA guidelines.
- Document relevant clinical information accurately, concisely and legibly in patient's charts.
- Arrange investigations, treatment, and discharge as directed by the Consultant to which assigned.
- Conduct interviews, examinations and the identification of clinical problems
Ensure comprehensive, accurate and concise medical records are maintained
