Permanent part time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management.

Permanent part time opportunity to demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within Theatre Bookings and Pre Admission Clinic.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
- Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
- Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
