The Senior Safety Advisor is responsible for providing expert practical advice and support across the SCHHS on complex safety matters and risks in accordance with legislative and SCHHS frameworks. The purpose of this role is to assist and support the delivery of significant and consistent outcomes and outputs that contribute to the achievement of SCHHS's organisational goals and providing a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide support to the Principal Advisor Safety and Governance as secretariat to the Divisional WHS Committees and or other committees as required,
- Work in collaboration with the Principal Advisor Safety and Governance in the execution of safety audits, inspections, safety training and fit testing.
- Provide contemporary expert and technical advice and support for the management of safety within the context of legislative and SCHHS safety and wellbeing frameworks.
- Provide technical expertise in the undertaking of audits and inspections of relevant WHS systems ascertaining compliance with legislation and approved policy / guidelines and established risk profiles for improved WHS management systems.
Remuneration value up to $152 772 p.a., comprising salary between $125 002 - $133 898 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
