Allied Health Practitioner Mental Health Child and Youth Mental Health Access

About this role
We're excited to welcome an Allied Health Clinician to our Child & Youth Mental Health Access (CYMHA)
Team - Acute response and access.
The CYMHA team will enhance access to mental health services for children, youth, and their families
by bringing together several existing and new programs to provide comprehensive, accessible, and
coordinated approach to supporting the mental health of young people and their families across various settings:
Acute response and access will act as the primary access point for referrals, offering immediate crisis intervention and outreach services. It will also provide up to 6 weeks of brief intervention when necessary.
Ed-LinQ Program will enhance collaboration between mental health services and educational providers through strategic partnerships, making it easier for youth to access mental health support within educational settings.
headspace In-reach Program will deliver consultation and clinical support within three headspace centres (Maroochydore, Gympie, and Caloundra), facilitating in-reach services for youth in these locations.
The Allied Health clinician will deliver psychology, occupational therapy or social work clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health (SCH).

This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of [discipline] services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols. For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.
Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data). Ensure that time spent across clinical and non-clinical work is in keeping with assigned requirements.
Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $79 051 - $116 189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).
