Clinical Nurse

About this role
We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Department of Emergency Medicine at Gympie Hospital.

The Department of Emergency Medicine (ED) provides initial treatment for all, and definitive care for many, emergency presentations and the resuscitation and stabilisation of emergencies prior to transfer when required.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Work collaboratively with peers and others to create a positive practice environment that achieves best practice outcomes for recipients of healthcare services.
- Act as a role model for registered nurses/registered midwives, enrolled nurses and unregulated healthcare workers in the provision of holistic healthcare.
Salary rates $57.48 - $61.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (multiple part-time positions available).
