About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide professional and high-level administrative and frontline support to all patients, visitors and employees of STARS, demonstrating understanding, empathy and patience, while ensuring confidentiality, tact, diplomacy and discretion whilst being accountable for the quality of work undertaken.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly and confidently with patients, members of the public and facility staff, face-to-face and virtual care services, asking questions, responding to enquires and providing accurate information.
- Address phone calls professionally and courteously and ensure clinical questions are referred to the appropriate clinical area / clinician in a timely manner.
- Ability to remain calm and manage conflict in a composed and professional manner.
