The purpose of this role is to provide high-level, confidential support to the Office of the Executive Director, focusing on correspondence management. It ensures timely, accurate communication, develops effective systems and training. The role fosters strong relationships with executives and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government policies, and supports the organisation's strategic goals while maintaining high standards of sensitivity and productivity.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high-level, confidential, independent, consistent, and timely support to the Office of the Executive Director in a complex, fast-paced, and sensitive environment.
- Facilitate strong professional relationships with senior executives, managers and support staff within STARS and across Metro North, and key external stakeholders.
- Research, coordinate, and prepare correspondence, briefing papers, reports, submissions, and recommendations on complex and sensitive matters, ensuring high standards in production through quality assurance activities on behalf of the Office of the Executive Director.
- Liaise, negotiate, and consult with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of correspondence in accordance with agreed processes and guidelines, and oversee preparation of correspondence related to administrative, Human Resources, procurement, and other matters as required within the Office of the Executive Director.
