We have an exciting opportunity for you to live in South West Queensland and provide nursing services in Dirranbandi. If you are a Registered Nurse (RN) and seeking a rural and remote experience, this opportunity is for you. The RN must provide compassionate person-centred nursing care within the rural/remote context.

Dirranbandi is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:

• An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
• Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
• Additional annual leave per annum!

With a 13 bed Multipurpose Health Service and Medical Centre, the team at Dirranbandi are passionate about their town and their community. There is a real sense of belonging here. Nursing, Medical, Operational and Administration staff all work together to make sure the community has a service it can be proud of and have faith in. Nursing in the rural clinical setting sees nurses expand their knowledge and skills and be ready to deliver care to a wide range of acute, chronic and emergency presentations.
