Senior Health Promotion Officer
South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Health Promotion Officer to join the HOPE Service. HOPE works with communities across the South West to be more active, eat well and engage in healthier lifestyles. Initiatives may have a focus on alcohol, smoking and other drugs, mental health and wellbeing, nutrition and physical activity.

About this role
Your opportunity
You will demonstrate your infectious passion for wellness and use your high-level communication and engagement skills in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of culturally appropriate health promotion initiatives and programs in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have the chance to work with government agencies, local businesses, community organisations and service providers across the South West region with only occasional professional supervision.
The senior Health promotion Officer is responsible for leading the development, implementation, evaluation and ongoing service delivery of preventative health programs and interventions within HOPE. The Senior Health Promotion Officer reports to the Program Manager HOPE.
