🩺 About the role

This role enables you to care for an allocated caseload of women, with the support and collaboration of other health care providers within the Midwifery Group Practice and Maternity service at the Weipa Integrated Health Service and the surrounding remote communities. Working in collaboration with our health partners, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners, Health Workers and Allied Health Clinicians. 

You'll provide high-quality, woman-centred maternity care across the continuum — antenatal, birthing, and postnatal. Working as part of a small but dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll enjoy autonomy, scope, and genuine professional satisfaction.
