About this role
Senior Oral Health Therapist | Temporary Full Time (12 months) | 3 Positions available in Cooktown, Weipa or Thursday Island
If you're an Oral Health Therapist who wants more than just a clinic… this could be exactly what you've been looking for.
We're seeking passionate, grounded, community-minded clinicians to join our team across Cape York and the Torres Strait. This is your chance to step into a role where your work genuinely changes lives - particularly for children, families, and communities who value connection and care.
🌊 About the opportunity
This role offers a rare level of autonomy, purpose, and variety - no two days are the same. As a Senior Oral Health Therapist, you will:
- Deliver holistic, culturally responsive oral health care across remote communities
- Lead and drive school dental programs and children's clinics
- Work both independently and as part of a supportive rural health team
- Travel across stunning locations in Cape York and the Torres Strait
- Utilise new mobile dental vans to bring care directly to communities
Travel is part of the role - Schedules will be planned to support balance and wellbeing.
We know moving into remote work is a big step and we're here to make it feel right. If you're even a little bit curious, reach out for a chat. Maria McGowan, 0427 534 243 would love to hear your story, answer your questions, and help you explore whether this could be your next chapter.
