About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be a key clinical leader within the Torres Strait Primary Health Care network, delivering advanced nursing care and supporting positive health outcomes across remote island communities.
Based primarily at one of the Outer Island Primary Health Care Centres, you will work closely with Indigenous Health Workers and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive primary health care services, including chronic disease management, preventative health initiatives and emergency care.
Working within the Torres Model of Care, you will play a vital role in mentoring and supporting primary health care clinicians, strengthening local service delivery and contributing to culturally responsive healthcare that meets the needs of Torres Strait communities.
This permanent role offers variety, professional autonomy and the opportunity to work across multiple Outer Island communities as required to meet operational needs. As the senior clinical lead within the Primary Health Care Centre, you will influence healthcare delivery, support workforce capability and build strong partnerships that contribute to improved health outcomes across the Torres Strait.

What we offer
- Base salary between $139,951 and $151,949 per annum
- Employer superannuation contribution of 12.75%
- Generous leave entitlements, including 17.5% annual leave loading
