About the opportunity
The Occupational Therapist - Senior (Outreach) provides clinical leadership and high-level knowledge, skills and practice to the Occupational Therapy discipline within a multidisciplinary, paediatric, early intervention, outreach allied health service.
The role provides integrated and holistic assessment and management of children with complex developmental needs (0-8 years).

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata) with 17.5% loading

- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- The successful applicant must agree to regular travel (via road and air) to the outreach sites included with the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Overnight travel is required as part of the service model.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
