The Rural and Remote Mental Health Program provides vital services across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service region, with teams in Palm Island, Ingham, Burdekin, and Charters Towers. This position is based at the Burdekin Mental Health Service, Ayr Hospital, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a rural community.

What's on offer?
Clinical Nurse
Remuneration package of up to $132,289 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits), comprising base salary range of $107,960 - $115,604 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1).
Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker
Remuneration package of up to $132,567 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits), comprising base salary range of $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (HP3).

About your opportunity
As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll join a community team delivering clinical assessment and evidence‑based interventions in a multidisciplinary environment. Working with colleagues and service providers, you'll provide specialist mental health and alcohol and drug support for individuals and families across the lifespan with complex needs.
Rural and remote clinicians are supported to apply their expertise and build new skills, ensuring high‑quality care for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders.
