About your opportunity:
This position provides a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the Hinchinbrook region, whilst providing high-level, evidence based Social Work services and leadership in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics 2020. Working as a key member within a multidisciplinary clinical environment this position provides a great opportunity to achieve optimum psychosocial outcomes for consumers, families and carers of Ingham and surrounding districts.
Please note, operational requirements may require this role to operate flexibly across a range of strategic and social work initiatives that contribute to health service activities including, but not limited to Ingham Hospital.
Please note - This is a fixed term temporary part-time role, working 64 hours per fortnight, up to 28/06/2026.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work degree from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for accredited membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers are mandatory for this position.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence is highly desirable.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance and Blue Card checks.
