Our clinicians provide treatment to all but the most complex adult cancers including: blood cancers, high-dose radiation therapy treatments and tele-oncology treatments to our remote communities, and specialised paediatric oncology. • Salary range: $44.06 to $56.51 p.h. (NG5)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity:

An opportunity exists to join a dynamic team to provide high quality, patient-centred nursing care to oncology patients under the care of haematology, medical oncology, radiation oncology and associated medical teams within Ambulatory Oncology Clinics at The Townsville University Hospital. You will be expected to develop your nursing assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation skills utilising the multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with the EVIQ recommendations and hospital guidelines.

This is a permanent part-time position, working 60 hours per fortnight.

• Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
