Research Manager
Rewarding Research Manager opportunity at West Moreton Health! This role coordinates and manages the Research and evaluation team, providing leadership, management, and direction for the evaluation of mental health education at a state-wide level to further improve the skill and capability of the Queensland mental health workforce. This includes the design and implementation of data sets and their analysis for state-wide reporting, the position ensures the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Learning (Learning Centre) and education partners meet the requirements of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), and the Learning Centre’s quality framework.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Direct and recent experience with research and evaluation within an education setting.
- Experience in the application of research and evaluation methodology including a sound knowledge and understanding of psychometric principles, measurement design, and working knowledge of multivariate statistical packages.
- Experience in designing and managing a state-wide project.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage staff successfully in line with quality human resource management and supporting complex operational issues in line with policy and procedures.
- Advanced capability with various systems and software e.g. advanced Microsoft Office, SPSS and Survey Monkey.
Mandatory Requirements:
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be produced before commencement of duties.
