Administration Officer - Mental Health Intellectual and Developmental Disability Service

The West Moreton Health, Mental Health Intellectual and Developmental Disability Service (WM MHIDDS) provides support to West Moreton Health’s Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) to assist with the care of people with an intellectual and/or developmental disability and have possible, or are diagnosed with, mental health disorders. It operates a consultation/liaison model.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the West Moreton Health, Mental Health Intellectual and Developmental Disability Service (WM MHIDDS). This role provides efficient, effective, and confidential administrative support, operating with a high degree of independence, while ensuring open and clear communication between all staff within West Moreton Health and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to perform confidential effective and efficient secretarial and administrative duties utilising Microsoft software applications and other hospital information systems, to produce effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity.
- Ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously, and to be flexible in a clinical team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion in the absence of decision makers, and the ability to initiate and finalise actions on specific administration tasks within work deadlines.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with multiple key stakeholders utilising a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
