Our health service is expanding and so is our Emergency Department Team! • This role provides the delivery of clinical care and support specific to geriatric patients within the West Moreton Emergency Department.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of geriatric and/or emergency delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members.
- Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members of the healthcare team, patients, relatives and visitors and maintain a positive workplace culture through well developed consultation, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrates a strong team commitment through ability to provide clinical education and support at an advanced level.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in the multidisciplinary team to identify areas for improvement in work practices and outcomes and contribute to the continued improvement of policies and procedures.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
