About the role
The Exercise Physiology Clinical Education Facilitator provides coordination, leadership and support for learning and development opportunities and clinical placement coordination at a state-wide level to exercise physiologists, pre-entry exercise physiology students and new graduates. The Exercise Physiology profession has a strong focus on student clinical education (pre-entry Exercise Physiology students) along with clinical research, with applicants sharing this interest encouraged to apply.
This position supports clinical education initiatives of the Exercise Physiology profession within Queensland Health, including facilitating the university collaborative with placement offers and allocations. This position will monitor and report all clinical placement activity data for Exercise Physiology within Queensland Health and Mater facilities. This position will work with, and report professionally to, the Chair of the Exercise Physiology profession specific group and the Statewide Clinical Education & Training Program Manager to operationalise the clinical education initiatives for the Exercise Physiology Profession within Queensland Health.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Possession of tertiary degree qualification in exercise physiology / human movement studies and be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) essential.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
