About the role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to deliver high quality oral health services within a supportive environment. Our team operates an integrated model of care, providing treatment for eligible adult and paediatric clients at dental clinics located within the West Moreton Hospital and Health Service catchment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience in the provision of all aspects of general dentistry services including comprehensive knowledge of Infection Prevention practices.
- Experience in the provision of high-quality patient oral health care on a personal and population basis.
- Ability to understand and respond to patient needs and manage client complaints and expectations.
- Ability to use initiative to innovatively analyse, identify and resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to effectively use or quickly acquire the ability to use applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel and Power Point, Novell, Outlook, ISOH (Information System for Oral Health Database) and various imaging platforms.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia – AHPRA.
- Appropriate certification under the Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Guideline (All successful applicants will be guided through the Credentialing and Scope of Practice process by the Credentialing Officer).
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
