Social Worker - Senior (Bundaberg)

Your opportunity:
- Provide high level Social Work knowledge, clinical skills and clinical expertise, leadership, consultation and professional supervision in the provision of palliative care support services within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
- The position requires a significant level of independence and personal accountability, including independent professional judgement, problem solving and clinical management, handling of a complex caseload beyond that of routine day to day clinical practice, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
- Contribute to service development, education and research in the work unit.
- The position operationally reports to the Team Leader, Cancer Care Support Team. The position professionally reports to the Director of Social Work, Bundaberg, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Temporary Part Time (45.6 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 19th September 2026 and for other periods of leave relief as negotiated by the Line Manager until June 2027.

You will receive competitive salary rates between $64.64 - $69.56 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Part Time, 45.6 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 19th September 2026 and for other periods of leave relief as negotiated by the Line Manager until June 2027).
