Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $136,538 to $148,242 p.a. (NG7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The purpose of the Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) – Maternity Wards is to provide midwifery leadership to proactively manage and coordinate clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective midwifery service focused on providing exceptional, evidence-based patient care. To facilitate and provide midwifery/nursing leadership, support, clinical supervision and mentoring within the midwifery/nursing team.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
