Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $6524.30 to $7189.50 p.a. (L10-L13)
- Salary range: $5130.40 to $5931.50 p.a. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Professional development assistance (allowance, PD leave, and exam leave)
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
This role may be suitable for the right candidate wishing to pursue a concurrent position in their relevant specialty and there is potential for negotiation with a minimum of 0.50FTE required for the Trauma Fellow position.
Townsville University Hospital is the Major Trauma Service for the North QLD catchment and provides tertiary Neurosurgical, Cardiothoracic, Hepatobiliary and Paediatric services for the region.
The Trauma Fellow will work closely with senior clinical staff including the Trauma Clinical Lead to deliver longitudinal care to trauma patients within the region. The role will be a joint clinical and research position, providing co-ordinated clinical care, dedicated research capacity, contributing to quality improvement, trauma education programs, and health policy focusing on regional trauma.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
