About the work unit:
The Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (SMHRU) has accommodation for 25 consumers and provides a secure, structured environment for rehabilitation. All nursing staff ensures the provision of best practice and quality patient care to clients identifying and practicing the principles of recovery orientated rehabilitation.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $113,979 to $122,048 p.a. (NG6-1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The Clinical Nurse position provides direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support, encompassing purposeful evidenced based practice interventions to patients and clients, recognising safety of all. A key role is coordinating and supervising the care of all consumers provided be other members of both the nursing and the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Travel is a requirement of this position.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
