About the work unit:

Charters Towers Health Service is a level 3 (CSCF), non-birthing, 23 bed rural hospital with emergency and ambulatrory services. Ambulatory services include community health nursing, child health nursing, midwifery group practice (non-birthing), advanced health worker, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and social work onsite.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

• Salary range: $57.48 to $61.55 p.h. (NG6-1)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
• Accommodation: On-site single staff accommodation will be provided for the successful applicant.

About your opportunity:

The Clinical Nurse will support and enhance the capacity of state schools with secondary students to develop structures and environments that promote the health and wellbeing of young people and to provide secondary school aged young people with access to a limited primary health care service within the school.

Requirements:

• Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
• Travel is a requirement of this position.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
