Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

• Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18 - L27)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
• Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
• Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity:

• Provide optimal patient care as a Surgeon in accordance with the standard of the specialty and the ethics of the profession.
• The role of the Specialist is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients of the THHS. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
• Lead and manage the provision of medical services in accordance with the standard of the speciality, the ethics of the profession and in accordance with the THHS and Queensland Health (QH) policies, in a hospital, community and outreach setting.
• The hospital has an intensive care unit, radiology department with interventional capability, PET scanner, radiation oncology and the full range of Surgical and Medical specialty groups.

• Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
• All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialing and SoCP committee.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
