Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
- Salary range: $139,951 to $151,949 p.a. (NG7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Court Liaison Services (CLS) provides a high-level clinical service as a member of a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the identification, assessment and appropriate referral of individuals with mental illness within Police watch-houses and the court environment AND provision of advice to the Magistrates Court regarding issues of soundness of mind, fitness for trial, and treatment needs. CLS also provides advice, support and training to court and watch house staff on mental health issues.
Court Liaison Services are established in locations across Queensland. The CLS role is positioned within the Townsville Community Forensic Mental Health Service and provides coverage to courts in Townsville and outlying areas – as required.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Travel is a requirement of this role.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
