The Pathway Planning and Placement Support Service (PPSS) leads patient flow and discharge planning initiatives to improve outcomes across Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $161,540 to $167,217 p.a. (HP6)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The Director role will lead Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) in its current and future strategy for preventing patients staying in hospital after they have completed their hospital care. The Director will be the leading advisor and advocate for Townsville Hospital and Health Service on matters relating to long-stay patients, informing the Executive and advocating with strategic intent in statewide forums.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
