About the work unit / facility:
The Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit (CTRU) is a residential facility providing extensive care, rehabilitation and dual-disability treatment for people with long-term residual and complex mental health needs. The unit delivers a 24-hour rehabilitation program designed to prepare residents for community reintergration while supporting their ongoing care needs.

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $43.81 to $47.97 p.h. (casual) (NG1-1).
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

About your opportunity:
Join the Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), working under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse to support the delivery of safe, high-quality mental health care. You'll assist with delegated nursing activities, contribute to person-centred care, maintain a safe healthcare environment and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support residents throughpout their rehabilitation journey.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 24-hour, 7 day roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
