About the work unit / facility:
The Medical Imaging Department delivers diagnostic and interventional imagaing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a key tertiary service with Townsville Hospital and Health Service, the department supports frontline clinical care across North Queensland.

- Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (full-time)(HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity:
Join the Medical Imaging Department as a Senior Radiographer Sonographer or Senior Sonographer delivering advanced ultrasound services within a leading tertiary healthcare service. You'll combine expert clinical practice, education and clinical leadership while working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Current Class C driver's licence
- Ability to participate in shift work, weekend, on-call and public holiday rosters
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
