About the work unit / facility:
The Gastroenterology Department delivers multidisciplinary, patient focused care across gastrointestinal, endoscopic, Hepatitis C and National Bowel Screening services. Integrated within the Institute of Medicine, the department provides a continuum of care across primary, secondary amd tertiary services.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $140,632 to $152,685 p.a. (NG7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Lead the Endoscopy Unit and play a key role in delivering high-quality, best-practice care. As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide nursing and operational leadership, supporting your team through clinical supervision, mentoring, education and professional development.
You will bring expert nursing leadership to the unit, strengthening clinical governance and quality improvement while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary stakeholders. This is an opportunity to shape a positive workplace culture and support the continued delivery of safe, patient-focused endoscopy care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and proof of registration (AHPRA)
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in appropriate fields is highly desirable.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
