About the work unit / facility:
Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) plans, operates and maintains infrastructure, engineering systems and plant across Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS), keeping healthcare facilities safe and operational through planned maintenance, asset management and 24-hour breakdown services.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $73,222 to $90,332 p.a. (HBEA10 - HBEA6)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- District, Tool, Skills Infrastructure and Maintenances allowances applicable
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
Join the BEMS Electrical Trade Team maintaining healthcare infrastructure across Townsville HHS. As an Engineering Tradesperson - Electrical, you'll undertake electrical installation and preventative maintenance across a range of facilities while working with staff and contractors to deliver safe, reliable electrical services.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Current Queensland Electrical Workers licence
- Current Class C driver's licence
- Participation in "On-call" roster
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
