Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

• Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The role of the SMO / Specialist / VMO is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical services to benefit the patients / clients of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS). This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) qualifications (or equivalent).
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Cardiac, CT/Cardiac, MRI)./li>
• Current registration as a Specialist Cardiologist with Medical Board of Australia.
• Advanced clinical experience in Cardiology, expertise in echocardiography including transthoracic echo, Transesophageal echo, Stress echocardiography and 3D Echocardiography.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
