The Maxillofacial team works closely with the Plastics department and the ENT department. Townsville University Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital in Far North Queensland.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $210,332 to $266,667 p.a. (L18 - L27)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Attraction and retention incentive allowance (50% base salary)
- Motor vehicle allowance between $21,000 and $25,500 p.a.
- Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. + 3.6 weeks p.a. leave
About your opportunity:
- Provide comprehensive surgical services across a wide range of pathologies and patient age within the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and FRACDS (OMS) or equivalent.
- All applicants must be awarded SoCP by the THHS Credentialling and SoCP committee.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including criminal history clearance.
